How MaxYield Supports Youth in Agriculture

Each year, around county fair time, questions sometime arise as to how MaxYield supports youth at the fair or in agriculture. Here are several ways we lend our support:

–    Annually we spend nearly $15,000 to decrease the cost of 4-H in Dickinson, Emmet, Clay, Palo Alto, Kossuth, Hancock and Wright Counties. MaxYield contributes $10 per 4-H member in each county to defray the cost of membership.

–    We annually offer $6000 in scholarships, of which $5000 is specifically earmarked for scholarships in agriculture.

–    Annually we employ young people interested in careers in agriculture in a variety of internships and job experiences.

–    We sponsor the Hawkeye FFA Alumni Tractor Ride, that raises money to support the Hawkeye FFA chapter.

–    Our team members annually donate time to local 4-H clubs, FFA chapters and county fairs.

There are other ways MaxYield and our team proudly support youth in agriculture. No matter how big or small, we appreciate their dedication to the next generation of ag leaders.
