MaxYield is continuing their support to local 4-H by donating 10 dollars per 4-H member to Kossuth County Extension and Outreach.

Chad Meyer, MaxYield Client Relations Director, said the cooperative has two goals in providing the program. “First, we want to make 4-H an affordable youth program for local families, especially families that have multiple children enrolled. Secondly, by paying a portion of each 4-H member’s enrollment fee, we are able to continue our mission in supporting 4-H so that each member benefits.”

There are currently 228 youth in grades 4-12 involved in 4-H in Kossuth county. “The main goals of Kossuth County Extension is to teach members about leadership, the importance of setting goals, to communicate efficiently with others, and to be a positive team member,” said Katie Holmes, Kossuth County Youth Educator.

The cooperative contributed $2,850 to Kossuth County Extension.
